So you want to host a room party...
Tiki Kon room parties are a fun way to meet people from around the world and make new friends. Whether they are planned or impromptu, we know room parties will occur, and we want to make sure that they do not disturb other guests, create a nuisance, or get anyone in trouble with the hotel.
Types of room parties
Any gathering of 6 or more people in a guest room is considered a party by hotel security. For planning purposes, we've created some different classifications with different guidelines.

- Small group, friends only
- Not officially affiliated with or endorsed by Tiki Kon
- No more than 6 guests after 10:00 PM
- No signup necessary
Unofficial room party
- Any size of gathering
- Guests are personal friends or must have Tiki Kon wristbands
- Should have set start and end time; must end by 10:00 PM
- Public promotion is allowed through flyers and social media
Unofficial after-hours room party
- Any size of gathering that continues after 10:00 PM
- Guests are personal friends or have Tiki Kon wristbands
- Can not be officially recognized by Tiki Kon or put on the official schedule, but we understand that we can't stop you if you really want to host late in your own room
- Hosts are responsible for honoring the hotel noise policies after 10:00 PM and liable for any outcomes related to those policies
- Promotion is not allowed, and we will disavow all knowledge of the party; please be discrete
Official room party or hospitality suite
