Online Purchase Terms & Conditions

  • No service charge for online purchases. Service charges aren't cool. We handle order processing and fulfillment ourselves, so please bear with us if there are issues with your order. We'll do what it takes to make things right. Within reason, of course.
  • Checkout and payment are handled using PayPal. You may check out using your PayPal account or as a guest using a major credit card.
  • All purchases must be picked up at Tiki Kon, July 10-12, 2015, at the check-in desk. Unclaimed tickets and merchandise are non-refundable. Tickets and merchandise must be picked up by the purchaser, and photo ID may be required.
  • Online ticket and merchandise orders can be canceled and refunded until Wednesday, July 1, at midnight, under the following conditions:
    • Refunds requested up to 55 days after payment is completed will be charged a $5 per item service charge, and the funds will be returned to the PayPal account or credit card used for purchase.
    • Refunds requested more than 55 days from the date of purchase will be charged a $10 per item service charge, and the funds will be returned by mail in the form of a check.
    • Please contact us at info@tikikon.com to request a refund.
  • Ticket prices do not include lodging. Hotel rooms must be reserved directly from the Red Lion at the Quay. See our Hotel page for details.
  • Symposium seating is limited. Please arrive early. Not all pass holders are guaranteed a seat.
  • Sales tax will be assessed at checkout for online purchases made by by Washington State residents. Sorry. WA state sales tax is included in prices for purchases made on-site at Tiki Kon.
  • By attending Tiki Kon, you consent to having your likeness captured photographically and used, without compensation, for the purposes of promoting the event, or for other commercial purposes at the discretion of event organizers in perpetuity, and you release Sandy Bottom Productions LLC, its successors, assigns and licensees from any liability arising from the use of said likeness. (Don't worry, we'll get your good side and promise not to publish anything grossly unflattering!)
  • You agree to not bring any outside alcoholic beverages into common areas of the Red Lion at the Quay. Hotel guests and their visitors are welcome to enjoy their own beverages in the privacy of their rooms, but alcohol may not be taken out of the guest rooms or consumed in common areas, including show and presentation venues, unless it is served by a Red Lion employee. This is to protect the hotel's liquor license, as state liquor laws are weird and strict in Washington (and yet, ironically, recreational marijuana is now legal in the state).
  • Cigarette, pipe, cigar or any other form of smoking is permitted in designated smoking areas only. Smoking is not allowed within 25' of building entrances, windows or the riverside edge of the hotel's River Deck. (There's a good chance you'll meet stressed-out Tiki Kon event organizers taking breaks in the smoking area. Feel free to say hello!)
  • Tiki Kon is not a child-friendly event. While many of our shows and activities are technically all-ages, and alcohol consumption is monitored by Red Lion employees, we suggest leaving the kids with grandma for the weekend. In many ways, Tiki Kon is a three-day cocktail party with adult themes and may not be suitable for minors.
  • Please drink responsibly. We want everyone to be safe and have fun. We understand that guests may do things under the influence of alcohol that they regret later (and we might even encourage some of those things), but operating a motor vehicle should not be one of them.

Thank you. We sincerely appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
