Tiki Kon, the Pacific Northwest's tropical pop extravaganza, is accepting submissions April 15 - May 15 for participants in our group art show. We want to exhibit and sell your work at our weekend event, at a showing that has the potential for over 1,000 highly-targeted attendees and exposure to thousands more through social media and email channels.

We seek all types and formats of original art from professional and amateur artists alike...paintings, photography, illustration, sculpture and three-dimensional art. Whatever you make that fits our theme, we want to see it.

Artists may submit up to 3 pieces for consideration. Submissions are juried by a panel of Tiki Kon organizers, based on quality, creativity and appropriateness to the Tiki Kon themes. The judges' decisions are final.

Theme

We accept any artworks that embody our overall Tiki theme, which also includes a number of tiki-adjacent subjects, but priority is given to works that convey the annual event theme.

WARNING: Due to our licensing agreement with the artist, we cannot accept works that depict any copyrighted Tiki Kon artwork, including the 2023 poster and mug by VanTiki.

Consignment

Artworks displayed in the show are sold on a consignment basis. The consignment period starts on the first day that the Tiki Kon art show is open (Friday, 6/30), and extends for 7 days, or when artists pick up their unsold pieces after the Saturday night show. Artworks will be on public display at Tiki Kon on Friday and Saturday. Artists may choose to have unsold artwork shipped back or picked up in person immediately.

The consignment rate is 10%. Artists/sellers are responsible for delivery costs, and for return shipping of unsold artworks. Unless return shipping arrangements have been made with our Art Show Coordinator in advance, unsold works must be picked up from the art show room no later than 11:00 PM on Saturday, July 1.

See the Art Show Consignment Agreement for full details: https://www.tikikon.com/terms/art-show

Shipping

Artworks should be received by our Art Show Coordinator no later than June 22, so that she may begin assembling and preparing for the show. However, it may be possible to make alternate arrangements to deliver artworks in person. If your artwork is selected for the show, we will reach out to coordinate delivery.
